Artist's Comments
First finished painting that I'm proud of since graduating art school. My friend John Larriva suggested a bird flying across the front of the figure, so as to create a better spatial relationship in the painting. And gosh darn it he's right. However I had four days to finish this painting, so that new bird was not added :/ but still, technique wise and presentation, I am happy to have this piece hanging in the faculty show.
